Bars : A More Accurate Signal Strength For iPhone

Bars …. yes, every time i mention that, there would a weird look on my beloved’s face. But anyway, Bars is a new Cydia tweak which shows you an accurate signal strength bars. If you got a 75% signal Bars will now show 3 and a half bars instead of 4.

As the title says it all, this Cydia tweak gives your SBSettings the look and feel of the IntelliscreenX theme.

PicToKeyboard : Unicode-ing Your iOS Keyboard

PicToKeyboard is a Cydia tweak that adds a unique keyboard to your iDevice which enables you to write/draw unicode symbols directly from your keyboard. It replaces/add a Croatian/Catalan/Icelandic/Latvian or Lithuanian keyboard from your internal iDevice.

3. Install it and Respring/Restart
4. Goto to Settings > PicToKeyboard > General > [Change From] and choose the keyboard you wanna change/add.
5. Click on [Tap This After Changes]
6. To be sure, just tap on [Clear Caches & Respring]
7. Done! you can now select the additional keyboard from your stock keyboard.

1. Before we start, the newest “sandcastle” extension for the SDM is said to be draining batteries out of iDevices.
2. So before you head on the Cydia, download and install this older extension first. Click HERE ↔ tutorial on how to install .deb files HERE
3. When you are done installing “sandcastle 0.0.2-1″, head on to Cydia and search for Safari Download Manager.
4. Install …. And you are done
5. Open up Safari, you’ll see an additional icon on your Safari tray.

 

Note: Safari Download Manager is just that, a download manager. It will, by itself, not allow you to view your downloaded files; for that we recommend installing iFile.

 

Downgrade 4.3.5 To 4.3.3 Without Saved SHSH

Attention : I’ve never tried this before … proceed with own responsibility

How to Downgrade 4.3.5 without saved SHSH blobs on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch 4G, 3G, iPad 2 (wifi) and iPad 1 without iOS 4.3.3 or earlier saved SHSH files. As most of you know that idevices users are interested in downgrading 4.3.5 to 4.3.3 to get fully untethered jailbreak.

Many users have upgrading their iOS devices to iOS 4.3.5 without saving 4.3.3 shsh files and others saved 4.3.3 shsh files but failed to follow the guide as they may faced some errors such as 3194, 1600, 1602, 1013, 1015, 20 or 1611.

Anyway we have good news for you, one of our reader was successfully able to Downgrade 4.3.5 without saved SHSH blobs.

• Download Redsn0w 0.9.8b5 for Windows /Mac

How to Downgrade 4.3.5 without saved SHSH blobs files Tutorial :

Step 1: You have to go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc , and replace “HOST” file with the downloaded one in “Restore Files” folder

Step 2: Open redsn0w and jailbreak your device but you have to point to iOS 4.3.3 instead of 4.3.4.

Step 3: Then the iPhone will stop on the recovery mode.

Step 4: Open Tinyumbrella (can be found in “Restore Files” folder above), then click on your iPhone name at the left then press on Start Tss Server.

Step 5: Open iTunes and restore your iPhone with iOS 4.3.3 firmware (Shift + Restore) then close it.

Step 6: You will find error 1013, at this time you have to use Fix recovery (can be found in “Restore Files” folder above).

Step 7: Open iFaith (can be found in “Restore Files” folder above) and Save shsh file.

Step 8: Open sn0wbreeze (can be found in “Restore Files” folder above) to create custom iOS 4.3.3 firmware and restore with it. Done.

I can’t believe I didn’t mention this must-have application in all my previous posts …. I’m human afterall eh?

RetinaPad enables the iPad to display iPhone applications in HD. No more pixilated graphics when using iPhone apps on your iPad.This app is similar with FullForce but just a bit more stable. So go ahead and uninstall FullForce

Retina Now :

1. Only available on jailbroken iPads
2. Go to Cydia > Search > RetinaPad
3. Install and Reboot
4. You can access RetinaPad from your iOS Settings
5. Enable the apps you want to run in RetinaPad from there

RetinaPad will not work if the app you choosen were enabled both in FullForce and RetinaPad.
